Core Conventions
- Control Panel: Private web area for SinLios administrators, center administrators, and managers.
- Client: Native interface used by students or library visitors on Windows PCs.
- Client User: Personal or shared user account managed separately from panel staff accounts.
- Workstation / Device: Windows computer paired via Aula Control Client.
- Classroom / Room: Classroom, library hall, lab, or logical workstation group.
- Desktop Profile: Collection of authorized applications displayed as desktop icons on the client.
- Daily Activation: Authorized session time allowance granted for the center's official operating day.
- Deactivate / Soft Delete: Mark inactive while preserving history and audit trails. Users, courses, and workstations are never physically deleted during normal operations.
Menu paths are represented as Section → Screen → Action. Options labeled «if enabled» depend on licensed modules. In the Manager profile, they also depend on permissions granted to that account.
Principles Applying to All Profiles
- The authoritative date is the server date according to the center's configured time zone. A mismatched local clock on a client computer does not change the active operating day.
- The application logs all administrative actions in the Activity Log.
- A website is never launched as a direct executable: it runs as an argument passed to an authorized browser (e.g., Chrome or Edge in private/incognito mode).
- Workstation licensing limits apply to currently paired/active devices. Revoking an unused computer instantly frees up a license slot.
- Windows protection is complementary. Aula Control does not claim to intercept
Ctrl+Alt+Del. - Real center data must never be used in public demo installations.
